Charlie Palmer is a photographer and filmmaker based in east London, England. He studied photography at Chesterfield College of Art, and then moved to London where he quickly developed a love for experimenting with image-making, predominantly through photography and more recently through film.

He worked for Warner Bros in special effects on a feature film, an ITV drama and then at Marvel studios for a series filmed at Pinewood studios. In all this began a deep interest in camera work which prompted him to train in cinematography at the London Film Academy, where he learnt the craft of filmmaking, editing and colour grading via DaVinci and in the past year has undergone an extensive documentary and filmmaking course focussed on ’storytelling’ .  

He is interested in narratives and how people interact, our environment, world affairs and the often unseen in-between-moments that make up the glue of life, where for him it all about capturing the aesthetic and visual story of any situation or environment be it in camera or in post.
